One day left for 2010 Tax Deductions That's right. 2010 is ending in one day. Take advantage of this opportunity to increase your deductions for this year. Due to the poor economy, our Friday collections have been reduced to 50% or less of what we used to receive in donations 2 years ago on Fridays. We are in dire need of your assistance and generosity. Build A Community Fundraiser Masjid Al-Momineen board of directors' focus in 2011 will be on enhancing and strengthening the Masjid community, inSha'Allah. To that end, we are determined to start and complete the following 4 projects in 2011: Build two standard sized basketball courts for the youth of both genders Build handicap access to both buildings Build a full-fledged children's playground Renovate the bathroom in the sisters' building Join us please on January 21 at 7pm in Ashiana Restaurant. We promise not to make it a very long fundraising night. We will, inSha'Allah, start at 7pm and end the program by 9:30. Dinner shall be served during the program as opposed to what is typical of many fundraisers where dinner is served at the very end right before midnight. Full babysitting services will be provided. Tickets are $20 for adults and are obtainable online using major credit cards. We have been working on the engineering plans for each of the above 4 projects during the last few months. We plan to embark on the actual construction work immediately after a successful fundraiser, inSha'Allah. Seats are limited. We expect a large turnout. Please reserve yours today.
